An-uxhwi (from uxhwi, an Ixhwambexti masculine form of 'chipped' or 'fractured') is a xtauh that features prominently in the Burning Gaze side arc of the Worldbuilding roleplay.

During the arc, he ends up breaking out of slavery with Evrith.

• Alignment: Xtauh (i.e. largely himself.)

An-uxhwi is of the wasteland body type and primarily possesses a golden colouration, owing to being the bearer of stratified scales. He has, however, spent a chunk of his life looking more like a sickly ochre due to his time as a slave to the Soakers. A little unusual for his gender, his chest is a different colour - a vivid red. His wings are flecked with the same red colour, given him a bit of a blood-speckled appearance.

From his time among the Pa'irket, he has a tattoo between his eyes “for this was believed to lend one some of the strength and ferocity of a female”. (But he really isn't very good at ferocity.)

An-uxhwi's main skill is being a xtauh. Less flippantly analysed, he's a bit more open-minded than the average xtauh and likely a good deal cleverer, although he rarely gets a chance to as much as notice this about himself. He's very observant, curious and thirsty for knowledge.

An-uxhwi is fairly sure of himself, without once trying to impress this fact upon others. One would struggle to make him feel self-conscious about himself.

At the same time, he defaults to being polite to those that have done him no harm - although he may make an exception for Soakers (takmar), as he's had so many negative run-ins with them in the past. In addition, his history with the clan Pa'irket has left him with a stance that sometimes, offence is the best defence, although he is nonetheless one to think twice about whether it's truly applicable in a given situation (assuming circumstance allows such hesitation).

He identifies the xtauh as a whole as “his people” (perhaps with the exception of those that have wronged him) and is happy to defend them in abstract and right injustices perpetrated against them, although certainly only if he thinks he can get away with it.
