Vorak
Vorak the Scribe is a member of the Eminent Court, and therefore one of the divine husbands of the Most Eminent in the Imperial religion. He is considered the counterpart of his wife's aspect of the Great Elder.
Vorak is the record-keeper of the gods. When paired with the Elder, He writes down the histories She recites, and records her advice and good wisdom. In His own time, He turns His affinity for the page to other tasks: the writing stories and poetry, drawing, even painting. He is called upon for inspiration, talent, and perseverance with writing and the two-dimensional visual arts. The followers of Vorak seek to capture the sense of the world, through words or images, so that it might be seen by all.
The temples of Vorak are often centers of culture, full of works of art and of writing. They are not as often patronized by the lower classes - who, even if they can read, often have better things to do with their time than look at pictures or read works of esoteric literature - but are popular with the elite, who keep them well-funded. Many aspiring artists learn at facilities attached to these temples, and go on to provide works to the homes of the wealthy - not to mention the interiors of the temples themselves, which are usually richly decorated.
Vorak is represented as an orange takma, a book carried in one forepaw and a brush in the other. His totem is the brush.
