Ytannik

Ytannik the Changer is a Lamna of the imperial_religion who serves as the god of physical transformations, the changing of one thing into another. His action is seen in the change of wood to ashes, of excrement to soil, of water to steam, of child to adult, of clear day to storm-lashed landscape.

Many cultures consider him one of the more approachable Lamnar. Though none of them are safe to speak to, Ytannik, despite the nature of His portfolio, is seen as not particularly temperamental or capricious; even where His works come about quickly, they are rarely without explanation or reason, and He is known to cooperate to some degree with mortals who take the time to understand what He is doing.

In this sense, He is often treated as the patron deity of alchemy (in the sense of protoscientific chemical studies), and among the Chosen, also of Substance, Shift, and aspects of Life magic.

He also often has an underground following among individuals with gender dysphoria, who may beseech Him for relief, or more generally among those who, subject to societies with strong gender roles and norms, seek an outlet to escape them, if only temporarily.
