Ancient Era

The Ancient Era is a block of time used in historiography of the Imperial tradition. It is used to refer to any dated event that occurred, or is purported to have occurred, before the traditional date of the founding of the Sixfold League, the predecessor to the Empire.

Prehistory

~535 Ancient

The earliest known takma writing systems appear in the cerulean_tangle, though proto-writing may have existed much earlier.

~290 Ancient

Agriculture

The first takma states capable of implementing widespread irrigation works appear. Other state-level geopolitical entities arise in response and begin to spread throughout the Cerulean Tangle.

~185-135 Ancient

The spread of government

Takma state-level entities begin appearing in the foothills of the spine_of_sirdanth.
