Exchange
The Extrinsic called Exchange is the embodiment of bonds, connections, resonances, reciprocity, giving and taking. It was one of the first children of Order to have no input from Chaos.
Involvement
Exchange is greatly and pervasively involved in the realms of the Froth, and its influence can be felt in many ways and many places, from the attraction of gravity and the forming of chemical bonds, to the trading of goods and the terms of contracts and oaths.
Exchange has considerable interest in the relationships and deals of mortals for their theoretical value, but is easily frustrated by the reality of them; unlike the relative reliability of physical law, the reliability and constancy of mortals in their dealings with each other are not even remotely assured. In addition, the ability of some of the more esoteric forms of magic and arcane abilities to bend physical law itself greatly offends Exchange. As a result, it prefers not to incarnate nor to study mortals directly, but to receive data about them from its (far more involved) sister Remembrance.
Personality
Exchange is, in mortal terms, a proper, even fussy, being. It has terms of etiquette that it abides by and expects others to abide by in their dealings with it, and can be touchy and easily offended; it is well-regarded by Order and has a cordial working relationship with Remembrance, but is considered difficult by many of its fellow Extrinsics, particularly Chaos or those with much of its influence.
That said, it is scrupulously evenhanded in its dealings, and will deal fairly with those who extend it the same courtesy. An Extrinsic collaborator will get a partner who does quality work; the exceedingly rare mortal who encounters it might be able to strike a deal with it if they are in a position to give it something that would please it - possibly information or a promise to help enforce a mortal arrangement in danger of being broken.
