-**Original life**: Though very old by the standards of most other species, Ehiphem is an infant of [[sessions:embrace:choral|its kind]]. After learning secondhand about the world beyond its natal pool from a lost traveler several generations earlier, it became curious about the world and bored with its own limited vistas. It decided to find a way to leave, and managed to attach itself to a passing predator as a kind of parasite, who carried it away. When it came across an unconscious [[sessions:embrace:Ta'skaaru]] and realized that she was both sapient and capable of flight, it realized that she would make a much more satisfying host.
-**Skills**: Ehiphem has almost zero physical strength or mobility, but is a versatile telepath, capable of reading and broadcasting thoughts and of limited control of other organisms' movements. It currently serves Ta'skaaru as an interpreter and marginally more knowledgeable guide, which it considers a more than ample recompense for having attached itself to her, regardless of her own opinion on the matter.
