Laishar is a joyful figure, young and exuberant. In times of celebration, and on special occasion, He is the one called upon to bless and protect the festivities. In particular, He has an association with music and its attendant arts: dancing, singing, and the playing of instruments; and, possibly as an adjunct to singing, other arts associated with the voice, such as poetry, storytelling, and theater. His tendency toward good cheer comes with an attendant reputation for intoxication and indulgence, and a tendency to favor those who follow His example in these things; how bad a thing this is depends on who one talks to. Laishar is a joyful figure, young and exuberant.
