-The Denoric Gulf is the westernmost extension of the [[avishraa:geography:marine:Windward Sea]]. It lies north of the valley of the [[avishraa:geography:sekhaa:river:Oresh]], which empties into it, and east and southeast of the [[avishraa:geography:sekhaa:region:Spine of Sirdanth]]; to its north lie what might be regarded as the southernmost extremes of the [[avishraa:geography:sekhaa:region:Storm Coasts]].+The Denoric Gulf is the westernmost extension of the [[geography:sekhaa:marine:Windward Sea]].  On the western margin, where the Spine approaches the Gulf, the mountains back almost directly onto the shoreline and therefore the topography of this portion of the coast is extremely dramatic. The flat space to be found between slopes and sea is often very narrow if it exists at all, broken frequently by ridges and cliffs; although there is a road running along the coast, frequently traveled by those wishing to circumvent the mountains, it is long and winding and the state of its repair varies considerably. Short-haul sea traffic is common along the coast for local use, though [[ethnicity:Abethine:]] ships may have longer routes that involve making port in the area. On the western margin, where the Spine approaches the Gulf, the mountains back almost directly onto the shoreline and therefore the topography of this portion of the coast is extremely dramatic.
