The Thuban version of Avishraa was destroyed as a result of the actions of the Hzataalar Kaea in that continuity, and what remained was a series of shattered fragments floating in orbit around its sun. Miraculously enough, there appeared to be sufficient gravity and atmosphere for some life to cling stubbornly to existence on certain fragments, suggesting that while the planet was no longer physically in one piece, the fragments continued to be closely associated with each other.

The Avishraan dragon species in the Thuban continuity loses some of the characteristics of Avishraan dragons that make the Amberworld dragons so especially unique. For example, the aquatic roots are entirely glossed over - there are no elongated hands, no trace webbing, and the body isn't particularly designed for swimming (though they can).
