In the [[thuban:|Thuban]] continuity, **magic** is the ability of the [[thuban:chosen|Chosen]] to affect reality, facilitated by a [[thuban:chosen#mana|mana organ]] within their bodies and an associated liquid substance called //mana//.

The magic accessible to Chosen came in four kinds, labeled Body (the ability to affect physical matter; most usually living things, but very rarely the inorganic); Mind (telekinesis and any telepathic abilities more invasive than simple communication); Energy (the ability to affect and direct energy such as heat, light, etc.); and, most rarely, Dimension (the ability to manipulate the fabric of spacetime - teleportation and related abilities).
