====== Tantines ======
**Tantines** are the nearest [[universe:mikurmiya:avishraa|Avishraan]] equivalent of mammals. Like most higher life forms on Avishraa, they are [[species:clade:hexapod|hexapods]].

Tantines are characterized by a lack of scales, being instead covered by hair or fur, and by compact aural structures. Unlike Earthly mammals, they do not have mammary glands; feeding of the young is performed through regurgitative actions.
